Zero Malaysian public outcry as police shoots dead 5 Indians, juvenile (17).
November 10, 2009 // thiagarajan // Indian crime, prison, and police lookup deaths, police shooting dead, NewsZero Malaysian public outcry as police shoots dead 5 Indians, juvenile (17).
Five poor and helpless Indian families, cries and mourns in silence. Three coffins in one house. Such cruel and heartless Malay-sian police murderers under UMNO’s instructions. UMNO will pay for this again in the 2012/2013 general elections.
Yesterday (9/11/2009) only the three Tamil Press covered in their headlines of the five (5) Indian youths including a 17 year old juvenile who were murdered in clod blood by shooting them dead under a “shoot to kill order” by the Malay-sian police.
As usual there was pin drop silence by the Malaysian civil society, NGOs’, print and electronic media, Bar Council, Suhakam and also the opposition parties PKR, DAP and PAS (Malaysian civil society) just because the victims were five Indians. The print and electronic media only focused on covering the UMNO/police version that this juvenile and youths are suspected criminals and to the effect that they deserve to be shot dead that there being no need for them to be found guilty by a court of law.
Even Parliament and the Selangor State Assembly are sitting now but even the 82 Oppsition PKR, DAP and PAS MPs’ did not cry foul in Parliament or demand a Royal Commission of Inquiry on this “police shooting order” atrocity as the victims are merely five (5) Indian youths.
The sitting Selangor State Assembly which is filled up with almost two thirds PKR, DAP, PAS ADUNS too never raised this police murders that happened at their doorstep in Selangor. Neither did the PKR Menteri Besar appoint two senior lawyers to help this family to fight the tyrant UMNO regime as they did for Teoh Beng Hock.
Even Malaysiakini the newsportal which claims to represent the underdogs did not bother. (Note: We however acknowledge that Malaysiakini has covered us at our hour of need. But we maintain that their coverage is not according to the severity of the violations of human rights but majoritarian based. A perusal of their front page headlines and sub headlines on 9/11/2009 is Res Ipsa Loquiteour (the facts speaks for itself). They mostly covered just about every other “national issue” except where the underdog victims are Indians which may perhaps not be “newsworthy” ie it may not appeal to the majoritarian community.
But then everyone claims to be “multi racial”. But when we focus on these (no takers) critical Indian injustices these “multi racial” forces accuses us of being Indian based which we are not apologetic.
We suppose if the victim was Ah Chong or Ahmad it then becomes majoritarian and would matter to the aforesaid Malaysian civil society. So much for multi-racialism in Malaysia.
