The Education Ministry and Women, Family and Community Development Ministry will take over the implementation of the Permata Negara programme from 2012 when two relevant Acts have been amended by parliament, the prime minister’s wife Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor disclosed yesterday..

On the plan to strengthen the programme Rosmah said it would involve the building and upgrading of 70 Taska Kemas, 27 Taska Perpaduan, 8 kindergartens under the Sarawak Chief Minister’s Department and 20 workplace or community kindergartens. And thousands more kindergardens nation wide.

But 42% of standard one pupils in tamil schools cannot read and write adequately because they did not attend kindergarten, or not conducive house or cannot afford pre-kindergarten. (MO 10/3/2010 pg 3).

About 90% of students in SJKT did not attended pre school now because of poverty well below the targeted 87% pre schools students by 2012 under the National Key Result Area (NKRA) (The Star 15/3/10 at page N 46).

Even the top tuans, tuan hajis and towkays in supposedly multi-racial PKR, PAS and DAP and their 11 Indian mandore MPs, alternative media, civil society and Bar Council watch this blood letting silently.

HRP’s Project 15/38 in creating and winning in 15 Parliamentary seats and 38 seats is the only way forward.
