We have never heard or read of a Malay, Chinese, Orang Asli, Kadazan & Iban suffering from this level of poverty. On top of this they all have their traditional villages, ancestral land and Chinese New Villages as their social safety  net which the Indians do not have.

Kannan of Coalfield Estate Selangor, has eight children and Steven Babu has six. They are so poor that they could not even afford to pay their water bill. Indian workers in Syabas and Puncak Niaga had to collect money from the already poor working class Indians to pay their outstanding water bills of a mere RM 496.14.

The RM 380 million allocated for welfare will not reach these Indian poor. And the PKR & PR Selangor state government also does not care as the victims are the mere poor and politically powerless Indians.
