UMNO has refused to grant land titles and gazette almost 95% of the Hindu temples and cemeteries in Malaysia as what they have done for all suraus and masjids since 1957. Yes, like temples, masjids and suraus too were located on public land in pre-independence days.

All the thousands of Hindu temples, Hindu cemeteries, Tamil schools and Indian villages and settlements will be made to disappear from the records and map of Malaysia as was done to the Cheras Hindu cemetery and hundreds of Hindu temples and cemeteries under the K.L. Structural Plan.
