The others in the Malaysian business magazine were YAB Lim Guan Eng who was jailed for defending a 14 year old minor Malay muslim teenage rape victim but would not defend the Bahau Indian teenage sex slave. Teresa Kok who exposed the “Chinese” and later made out to be a Malay nude squad victim at the Petaling Jaya police station but would not expose an Indian lady in Rawang who was told to perform oral sex on another detainee as part of the police interrogation at the Rawang police station lock up. Anwar Ibrahim who had highlighted Malay muslim poverty in Baling in the 1970s’ but has never championed the Indian poor who are merely ‘skin and bones’ in the Bahau estate. Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah who seriously promotes the New Economic Policy for Malay muslim economic and social upliftment but who has never cared to speak up about the Indian upward mobility opportunities. The other activists are Collin Nicholas who champions Orang Asli land rights but not the denial of land for the landless Indian poor. Raja Aziz Addruse, the legal and human rights champion except on Indian minority rights, Yap Swee Seng the Executive Director of Suaram who champions Human Rights except Indian rights, Lim Kit Siang who champions democratic rights except emocracy for the Indians, Raja Petra Kamaruddin is hailed as a hero but just browse through his blogs. He has neither highlighted nor championed even one serious Indian problem. In his newsportal, Raja Petra Kamaruddin has links of just about every other NGO in Malaysia except policewatchmalaysia. com and Hindraf.org because it focuses on the critical Indian problems. I am not sure if I will be able to “welcome” him in all sincerity and from my heart if I bump into him at Kemta Prison. I had all the opportunities of meeting him at Kemta Prison but I just did not get around making any effort at all and never met him at Kemta Prison. Also PAS and Hadi Awang did not bother replying to our hundreds of letters and have no history of ever having seriously raised even one Indian problem.
In particular the present Chief Minister of Penang and DAP Secretary General who was quoted in the Malaysian Business Magazine as having said that he went to jail for standing up for a 14 year old Malay muslim teenager allegedly raped by a powerful former Chief Minister. And he says that he “waits for the day people from one community are prepared to go to jail for another community”. I am eagerly waiting for the day when Lim Guan Eng or the first Indian or non Indian going to jail where an Indian is similarly seriously victimised. Things are easier said but not when it comes to the very serious Indian problems. Championing Indian issues and going to jail for example on the Kampong Medan racial attacks human tragedy where five Indians were mercilessly murdered in cold blood and about 100 caused grievous bodily injuries for reasons not known up to this day which is at least 100 times more serious than the rape of the said 14 year old girl. The ethnicity of the teenage girl does matter in Malaysia. Would the YAB have defended in the same manner and same ferocity if the victim was a Indian teenage girl ‘where he does not get to score very much political points’.
This Business Magazine once again confirms my often repeated assertion that these “multi racial” Indians, the other “political points scoring” Indians, and the non Indians especially herein above mentioned abandon even the most pressing and critical social and economic problems faced by about 70% of the about two million Indians in Malaysia. This is the sad truth about justice, human rights, multi racialism and multi religious Malaysia.
