In the rude awakening of the dawn, the news about Hindraf/HRP National Vice-President, Tamil Selvam’s house burnt down has left many speechless in disbelief! Who will have the slightest doubt in suspecting this tragedy of death of human justice as one of the many “Ops Padam Hindraf” projects.

The Indians in the country, outraged over the vilification of their community by means of demeaning portrayals of Indian characters throughout the bloody novel Interlok, by a National Laureate, have wailed loudly and cried the shrillest about that novel!!! Yet, the world’s worst RACIST and SUPREMACIST UMNO government is hell-bent on retaining the novel, claiming it to be a master piece! Since the beginning of this year, just how many protests and objections have been organized and registered by individuals, intellectuals, academicians, NGOs and political parties across the country, the latest being attempts by some members of Parliament to table a motion in Parliament to debate the ill-intended bloody novel!

The height of the society’s abhorrence of UMNO’s RACISM and SUPREMACISM was the People’s March in Solidarity against UMNO RACISM organized by Hindraf on 27 February 2011. The scores of roadblocks erected to stop the car convoys, the police crackdown on organizers of the related forums, the many unlawful arrests, the abuse of power by the police, the shutdown of the Kuala Lumpur City Centre bringing it to a standstill, the foiled People’s March in Solidarity against UMNO RACISM, the unlawful and illegal arrests of 109 + 14 Hindraf leaders and supporters including women and school going children, the unconstitutional charges, the bails of RM 200,000 , the hacking of the Hindraf/ HRP websites, the rejection for an emergency motion to debate the bloody novel in Parliament, the quitting of all three Indian members of the Interlok review panel yesterday failing the panels approval for 100 corrections suggested, are all recent historical records of UMNO’s institutionalized RACISM, SUPREMACISM, AUTHORITARIANISM, AND DICTATORSHIP! All that we anticipated, inferred, witnessed and endured in anguish!!!

Nonetheless, what happened yesterday morning at 5.00 am, in Kampung Benggali, Rawang is totally unacceptable, deplorable and perilous!!! One shudders to think the consequences of this new unprecedented form of UMNO brutality through the deadly police force in silencing the voices of dissent from the deeply wounded Indian society, merely seeking justice over 54 years of institutionalized RACISM by UMNO! What if Tamil Selvam’s family failed to escape the ferocious fire ignited to end not only his voice but also that of Hindraf, HRP and the whole nation against UMNO RACISM? How barbaric and ruthless can the UMNO government become in defending Interlok, their brainchild of RACISM and SUPREMACISM? What is UMNO trying to prove? Why are they so hell-bent on defending the defenseless novel to the extent of burning down the Hindraf/ HRP leader’s house with the ill-intention of killing him and all his family members! Why the mens rea by the RACIST UMNO the actus reus by the police? Is this the pride before the fall? UMNO’s arrogance stemmed from extreme RACISM AND SUPREMACY shall be the downfall of UMNO come the 13^th General Election!

Parents of all children of Malaysia who have been forced to study this bloody novel, please heed the recent call by Hindraf/HRP National Adviser. Mr. N. Ganesan, and RETURN THIS BIGOTTED NOVEL TO THE SCHOOL! JUST RETURN THE CRAP! STAND UP AGAINST UMNO’S RACISM AND SUPREMACY!!!
