It was all so plain and obvious that the Malay-sian Attorney General Tan Sri Gani Patail had instructed his Senior Federal Counsel to lie in his affidavit to the effect that the Kuala Lumpur High Court was lying when the Judge’s Secretary wrote that the AG’s Chambers that they had already collected the Notes of Proceedings on 20/8/10 and have the AG’s chop and the name of the clerk and his signature. And even after a second similar occasion the AG’s Chambers still did not file their Record of Appeal in time.

The A.G’s Chambers lied in their affidavit even to the Court of Appeal and at the expense of the intergrity of the K.L High Court. All because the AG’s Chambers could not explain the six months and nine days delay in filing the Record of Appeal especially with the widow of Anwar bin Sarip having waited for justices for 12 years now. The powerful AG’s Chambers have got so used to abusing their powers that they go even to this level of calling the High Court a “liar”

In fact it is the duty of Attorney General Tan Sri Gani Patail to preserve the integrity of the Courts at all costs

But Senior Federal Counsel mandore’ji Amarjeet Singh in trying to buy time and delaying this case informed the Court that there is a third appeal which he wants to hear together and wanted an adjournment.

But when P. Uthayakumar informed the Court that he is prepared to withdraw that appeal the, Court of Appeal Judge Dato Abu Samad bin Nordin now turned the tables by saying that the second Judge Dato Azhar bin Mohd was the ex head of Civil Division at the Attorney General’s Chambers who admitted that he has even discussed this case with SFC Amarjeet Singh and is thus recusing himself. See how the AG’s Chambers and the Courts at work, hand in glove! And sacrifice Justice.

The other Judge is Dato Alizatul Khair bt Osman Khairuddin.

P. Uthayakumar informed the Court that his only concern was that this matter has been long outstanding for 12 long years now.

Puan Suzana the widow and her two sons Mohd Saifullah bin Mohd Anwar & Mohd Azrullah bin Mohd Anwar have been denied justice for 12 years now. Justice delayed is justice denied. And Justice denied is anarchy!

P. Uthayakumar said he had half the mind to tell the Court of Judges that the small boys aged 2 & 8 in 1999 when their late father was ruthlessly killed at the Rawang police lock up have grown up in this 12 years and even have a girlfriend now but the case is still ongoing.
