1. Malathi’s leg was amputated because of diabetes.
2. Failing sight but cannot afford to buy spectacles.
3. Given RM 150.00 per month as UMNO welfare aid. She would have received RM 800.00 per month from Baitulmal, zakat, Yayasan if she was a Muslim.
4. But RM80.00 alone spent on taxi fare each time she goes for the medical treatment.
5. Have to beg her already poor friends and relatives for food and shelter.
6. Jayathi is wheelchair bound after an accident.
7. Both now unable to work.
8. Their only house is going on auction.
9. A (PKR) Councilor mandore has (kosong) promised them a flat owned by MPSJ a la the MIC mandores. ( if and when they get it or they will end up in a cramped up Indian poor orphanage terrace house)
10. They are now begging that the flats they “are to be given” is close to public transport so that they can go to hospital easier a few times a week.
11. They now live in hope like tens of thousands of other Indian poor.
