We are not suggesting that Lim Guan Eng should actually be suspended for six (6) months. But on the similar fact evidence.

When Y.B. M. Manoharan was falsely alleged to have made adverse inference on the Malaysian flag UMNO took full advantage and used Utusan Malaysia in particular to do a Manoharan bashing to the brim.

Iit all started when Mano tried  to portray himself as more DAP than Malaysian by distributing to his Kota Alam Shah constituents the DAP flag as opposed to the Malaysian flag on Malaysia Day on 16/9/2011.

But even the very same Chinese DAP party top leadership did not back him up but instead choose to suspend him for six (6) months which effectively precludes him from recontesting in the DUN Kota Alam Shah as in all likehood the general elections would be held within the next 6 months.

But when YAB Lim Guan Eng allegedly badmouthed Johor and the Utusan Malaysia headlines similarly Guan Eng bashing (UM 28/9/11 headlines) another set of rules apply in the pseudo multi racial DAP. The Disciplinary Board would not pull up YAB Lim Guan Eng and suspend him for six months.
