Even with no less than the UMNO 1 Malay-sian Prime Minister Najib Razak himself as Chairman of the Cabinet Committee on Indians has made no or very little difference to especially the Indian poor as is documented and reported on a day to day basis in www.humanrightspartymalaysia.com . There is simply no political will to do so by UMNO.
The racist UMNO agenda is to preserve the Indian poor and to create the future Indian poor to undertake the 3D Jobs that are a necessity in any country – Dirty, Dangerous and Different.
So the latest UMNO cum MIC political gimmick especially in the front pages of today’s (6/1/12) Tamil Nesan and Malaysian Nanban and also in the NST at page 7 of appointing an Indian Educationist to the Education Review Panel is not going to make any difference.
With no less than the powerful UMNO Prime Minister in charge of the Indians even the very basis that is required of any primary school is denied. For example 1) Tamil schools denied especially in new and Indian urban and semi urban neighbourhoods 2)low enrolment in estate school 3) overcrowded urban and semi urban Tamil schools 4) infested by white ants 5) in steel shipping containers 6) in basements (Penang) 7) upstairs shophouses 8 ) denied playing school field 9) denied school canteen 10) washing basins 11) tables and chairs 12) stationary 13) computer labs 14) resource rooms 15) toilets 16) children denied entry even into primary schools because they are denied Birth Certificates by the National Registration Department on the smallest technicalities 17) library 18) sports equipments 19) not fully aided by the government and 20) even up to being denied water supply (Siro Tamil school, Perak).
And needless to mention the blatant denial of the very basic equality and equal opportunities in education, jobs promotions and economic opportunities with the view to keep the Indians below the water. And PKR, DAP, Pas and Pakatan Rakyat watch silently this “blood letting” by the racist UMNO.
So this very latest wayang kulit in UMNO’s 55 year history of merely appointing an Indian academic going to make a difference?
