Utter Rubbish that Tamil is taught during school hours. Throw a stone from where this journalist works and it will hit SMK Bukit Bandaraya where the Tamil language is refused to be taught during school hours.

Way back in the early 1990s Dr. Mahathir had “kosong” announced that Tamil would be taught as a compulsory subject in all primary and secondary schools nationwide. And this was repeated like a parrot by the succeeding Prime Ministers Abdullah Badawi, and today by the racist UMNO 1 Malay-sian Prime Minsiter Najib Razak again. But under the racist UMNO agenda it is never meant to be implemented.

To top up this kosong propaganda Najib announces six new Tamil schools to be built when all the 523 Tamil schools are either underfunded, in shipping containerss, in colonial era white ant infested wooden structures, in basements, upstairs shophouses, etc.
