The 700 Indian poor in this Taman Tun Dr Ismail, Bukit Kiara and their ancestors like in the case of Putrajaya cleared the virgin jungles with literally their bare hands to plant rubber and palm oil to contribute 68% of Malaysia’s income in 1957.
But today as Taman Tun Dr Ismail, Bukit Kiara, Putrajaya, Damansara, Bangsar etc have become prime land, developers and politicians from both the UMNO and Pakatan Rakyat racist regimes alike see these Indian villages, their Hindu temples, cemeteries and Tamil school for takeover.
Ever wondered why it is almost always the Indian poor villages and settlements, Tamil schools, Hindu temples and cemeteries that are destroyed, torn down, evicted, shifted here and there and in a nut shell “socially ethnically cleansed”? Because for 55 long years unlike for almost all the Malay, Chinese, Orang Asli, Iban, Kadazan etc., UMNO has granted only a temporary, ad hoc piecemeal and temporary solution taking advantage of the vulnerable and soft target Indian poor denied even political or economic power. Never permanent land titles as a solution like for the thousands of Malay, Orang Asli, Kadazan, Iban and even 607 Chinese New Villages, their Masjids, suraus, cemeteries etc.
The 700 voters in Taman Tun Dr Ismail, Bukit Kiara are still living in wooden longhouses without even the privacy of even one bedroom and for 30 long years now in what was originally supposed to be a temporary solution and promises of houses under the Estate Workers Housing Scheme.
And even wondered why the pin drop silence even from the top Pakatan Rakyat leaders, the 11 out of 12 Pakatan Rakayat Federal Territory Members of Parliament? Because they endorse the UMNO racist policies and intends to continue the UMNO legacy targeting the Indian poor when they get to Putrajaya.
