Article 8 provides for equality. But in 1 Malay-sia it appears to be interpreted to be equality for all below average 1 Malays who did not qualify to enter public universities. They are bailed out under the racist UMNO agenda and get to enter UITM which provides 200,000 places but only for Malay muslims. 10% of the UITM places are even given to foreign muslims but never the 5th & 6th generation Malaysian born Indians.

But what about opportunities for the 10,000 below average who have the second chance to become doctors, lawyers, engineers, technocrats, businessmen, bankers, Accountants etc.

Indian poor students under the racist 1 Malay-sia UMNO/BN government agenda are doomed to become clerks, technicians, nurses etc. Some misfortune ones may be forced to become gangsters, robbers, criminals etc.

UMNO/BN is the world’s only regime that restricts it’s minority from upwards mobility opportunities . These Chinese control some 60% of the economy and have the money to send their children to private universities if not overseas.

And Article 12 of the Constitution specifically states that there shall be no discrimination in the intake into Institutions that is funded by the government.

But UITM is 100% only for Malay muslims. Thus the UMNO/BN government refuses to follow the law and constitution 100% and with impunity. While the pseudo multi-racial Pakatan Rakyat watches silently this “blood letting” of the Indian poor.
