This morning (6/6/12) saw DCP Acryl Sani bin Abdullah Sani being grilled for another four hours by P. Uthayakumar at his Hindraf Sedition letter to British Prime Minister Gordon Brown dated 15/11/07.

Referring to a posting in www.policewatchmalaysia.com which was then the official Hindraf website Uthayakumar asked DCP Acryl Sani bin Abdullah Sani that if Prime Minister Najib had met Hindraf way back in 2007, the Hindraf 18 point demands may have been largerly delivered and Uthayakumar may not have been prosecuted for sedition.

Being an UMNO political question, the Sessions Court Judge Ahmad Zamzani bin Mohd Zain did not allow this question.

The DCP was referred to the provisions of Section 295 of the Penal Code (demolishing Hindu temples is a crime) and Article 11 of the Federal Constitution. Despite this when the DCP answered that the UMNO government has powers to demolish Hindu temples, Uthayakumar asked him which provision of the law allowed him to do so, the DPP objected that it is a question of law and the DCP should not answer the question.

Despite Uthayakumar pointing out that this DCP is among the No. 3 in line to the IGP and that demolishing Hindu temples allegation amounted to Sedition as per the charge sheet, the UMNO Judge blatantly decided not to allow this question. The DCP further had the cheek to say that he has never heard of any Hindu temples being demolished in Malaysia. If at all (satu dua) one or two in last 50 years. When Uthayakumar had pointed out that it was one Hindu temple demolished in every 10 days in Selangor alone as per the Menteri Besar’s reply to the Selangor State legislative Assembly in 2008. He said he has never heard of it.

This Judge also disallowed Uthayakumar’s question whether the DCP has ever heard of the Indians being discriminated  in Malaysia despite this allegation by Uthayakumar being in the charge sheet
