Just imagine some 2,320,034 (NST 5/10/11 page 1) foreign unskilled illegal and legal workers registered under the 6P programme alone in 1 Malay-sia with a population of 28 million. Or 8.28% of the population. What more the unregistered foreign workers and those coming in illegally by the thousands daily.

And just because they don a tudung or look like a local Malay at least 40,800 get to straight do petty trading business in Kuala Lumpur alone. See  FreeMalaysiaToday.com, which quotes 80% of 51,000 traders registered with DBKL ie 48,800 and unskilled.

For the poor Malay muslims the sky is the limit and they get to start off their upward mobility opportunities by opening up petty trading businesses. And the 100% Malay controlled racist UMNO government, DBKL and all local council license issuing authority grant licenses stalls, places, plots and roadside stalls as a matter of course. And MARA, UDA, ONB, Yayasan and scores of other racist 1 Malay-sian government agencies grant thousands of places and opportunities to do business as a government policy.

The Chinese already control some 50% of the economy and have cash rich tycoons, guilds and associations to cater for the few poor Chinese wanting to start up a petty trading business.

But unlike the said Malays, Chinese and foreign Indonesians for the Indian poor it is an uphill battle all the way. They take up loans from Ah Long with exorbitant interest rates to start their petty trading license. Their scores of attempts going from post to pillar at 100% Malay government department licensing authorities, they are in all likelihood to be denied licenses.

And within days of setting up their stall or shop, the DBKL comes in a large contingent and demolish their stall even on a private RHB Bank Jalan Tun Razak car park. ( This is a true story that happened early this year). All because he is an Indian.

And in Klang Town which is ruled by “our” good old Pakatn Rakyat, even a Kachang Putih seller is denied a license. Again because he is an Indian. These are just the tip of the iceberg examples. Both UMNO/BN and Pakatan Rakyat have this racist policy targeting the vulnerable and helpless Indian poor.

But no less all in the name of 1 Malay-sia and UBAH!

Makhluk perosak’ punca kebanjiran peniaga asing

Ada 51,000 peniaga yang berdaftar dengan DBKL namun 80 peratus daripadanya di’alibaba’kan.

PUTRAJAYA: Tindakan beberapa pegawai pihak berkuasa yang menjadi ‘makhluk perosak’ didakwa sebagai punca kebanjiran peniaga asing di sekitar Kuala Lumpur.

Presiden Pertubuhan Ikatan Usahawan Kecil dan Sederhana Malaysia (Ikhlas) Mohd Ridzuan Abdullah mendakwa, ini disebabkan wujudnya penglibatan pegawai yang berada dalam agensi Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur (DBKL), selain Jabatan Imegresen, polis, dan beberapa persatuan peniaga yang melindungi peniaga asing.

Katanya, disebabkan kelonggaran itu peniaga tempatan terjejas sehingga terpaksa bersaing dengan warga asing terutamanya dalam isu mendapatkan tapak perniagaan.

“Ada 51,000 peniaga yang berdaftar dengan DBKL namun 80 peratus daripadanya di’alibaba’kan,” katanya kepada pemberita dihadapan Pejabat Perdana Menteri di sini hari ini.

Beliau turut bimbang sekiranya peniaga asing diberi peluang menguasai perniagaan bazar Ramadhan di Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman, Jalan Masjid India, dan beberapa bazar utama sekitar Kuala Lumpur bulan depan.

“Mereka ni tak bawa untung kepada kerajaan. Mereka warga asing tak bayar cukai.

“Secara purata dalam sebulan 45 kali Jabatan Imegresen buat operasi di Kuala Lumpur dan Putrajaya tapi warga asing tetap wujud,” katanya.

Beliau sebelum itu bersama kira-kira 250 peniaga kecil sekitar Kuala Lumpur hari ini menyerahkan memorandum mendesak satu suruhanjaya khas bebas membanteras kebanjiran penjaja asing diwujudkan.
