Re: Kota Raja; P.Uthayakumar v Dr.Siti Mariah public debate on “Is Pakatan Rakyat brand of ‘multiracialism’ inclusive of Indian poor?” Or another 1 Malay-sia a la UMNO?

On 19^th July 2012 Malaysiakini reported Dr.Siti Mariam as having said that HINDRAF de facto leader P.Uthayakumar would lose his deposit should he contest in the Kota Raja Parliamentary constituency. This was also reported in the four Tamil dailies today. But on the same breadth, Pakatan also risk losing Selangor.

HINDRAF has always maintained that if and only if Pakatan had also championed and delivered to the Indian poor, HINDRAF will not contest in even one seat as in the 2008 General Elections.

Dr.Siti Mariah had also said that Pakatan Rakyat will also fight for HINDRAF’s cause but on a multiracial platform and indirectly branding HINDRAF as racist outfit. This is a very clever and standard Pakatan means of diversion and not delivering to the Indian poor. See (enclosed) HINDRAF’s “Apa Pakatan tidak buat untuk India miskin: 5 tahun perintah Selangor, Penang & Kedah”. This is akin to the UMNO government’s 1 Malaysia political rhetoric and telling the Indian to have “Nambikei” in them @ Indian votes.

In the last five years of Pakatan rule of Selangor, Penang and Kedah there has been no or very little effort to end UMNO racism targeting the Indian poor. Pray tell us of even 1 office boy’s job that has been given to 1 Indian poor in Selangor, Penang or Kedah. UBAH? Let alone 1 qualified Indian becoming the Mayor or Municipal Council President in any of the scores of District, Municipal and City Councils. Needless to mention an Indian can never even dream of becoming the President or Secretary General of PKR, PAS or DAP. Only Indian mandores are wanted in Pakatan as in UMNO/BN to serve as the Indian faces. So who is the racist? HINDRAF is very conveniently labeled racist for pointing out UMNO and Pakatan racism. This definition of racism can only take root in bi racial 1 Malay-sia.

We hereby invite the Kota Raja Member of Parliament Dr.Siti Mariam for a public debate on “Is Pakatan Rakyat brand of Multiracialism inclusive of the Indian poor?” Or another 1 Malay-sia a la UMNO? And to rebut HINDRAF’s “Apa Pakatan tidak buat untuk India miskin: 5 tahun perintah Selangor, Penang & Kedah”. at Padang Chetti, Klang on 26/8/2012 at 11.30am.
