To the contrary the National Key Result Areas (NKRA) set by the Education Ministry targets in the reverse order nearly 90% pre-schools students by 2012.

This is evidence that UMNO is trying to keep the ethnic minority Malaysian Indians out of the national mainstream development of Malaysia. By denying these Indian children Tadika, Tabika and Permata Kindergartens, etc., UMNO intends to breed Indians as poor academic performers, school dropouts, unskilled workers, general and factory workers, toilet cleaners, general office and other cleaners, security guards, office boys, disproportionately large number of drug peddlers, gangsters, high divorce rates – 500% higher than in the Chinese community, high mortality rate, suicide rates at 600% higher than in the Malay community and leading miserable lives right up to their dying days most often within their 40s’ and 50s’. All because of poverty and poverty related issues that are ignored. From Womb to Tomb, Compliments of UMNO, the world’s most racist, religious extremist and supremacist regime.

Also never promoted to headmasters an estimated 50% of the teachers in Malaysian schools nationwide in the 1960s’ and 1970s were Indians teaching mostly English, Science, Maths etc. Mrs Vaithalingam is one sample of this 50% (Sinar 11/3/10 at page S29).
However UMNO systematically and gradually in pursuit of their racist, religious extremist and supremacist policies reduced this to about a mere 1% today. This is ethnic cleansing in the education sector!
Also almost all these teachers were never promoted to become headmaster and headmistress of national schools, however qualified or capable they may have been. Today we no longer hear of Indian headmasters any more. The very last few have retired or are on the verge of retiring.
To the contrary even the President of the USA is now a black and “muslim”.
But in Prime Minister Najib Razak’s One malay-sia, an Indian cannot even become a headmaster however qualified or capable they are.

RM 40,000 insurance benefits for Islamic KAFA Selangor teachers
(UM 19/2/2010 at page 27).
But this benefit is denied to the thousands of tamil school teachers in the 523 Tamil schools. Herein lies another area of blatant discrimination.
What more when hundreds of tamil school teachers are still temporary teachers. UMNO refuses to taken in 100% permanent teachers for Tamil schools.

Tuisyen rakyat does not reach poor Indians.
Millions of ringgit is allocated for poor students’ tution. But this Tuition scheme is not benefited by most of the Indian students.

7,575 Malay schools are already ranked from three Star to five star schools also with rural (Malay) smart schools (The Star 13/2/2010 at page N26).
But for Tamil schools the pre existing poor Indian parents are forced to even buy tables and chairs, computers, library books and sports equipment for their children’s Tamil schools for example the Kalaimagal Tamil school in Kedah and the Tebrau Tamil school in Johor.
UMNOs’ strategy is to keep the Indian minds busy fighting it out for these basic necessities while they succeed in excluding the Indians from the RM 2.8 billion local and overseas scholarships, 100% excluded from UITM, 99% from the local Universities, Polytechnics, skills Training Institutes, etc.

No special unit to address this issue. But UMNO’s Special Unit for rural (malay muslim) schools on track.
This Special Unit was announced by UMNO’s Deputy Education Minister (NST 22/2/10 at page 4). But UMNO has zero plans to address the 55% failure rate as mentioned by Selangor Menteri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim (TN 6/1/10 at page 4).
At the SRJKT Sg Besi (near the army camp) out of 53 students who sat for the Standard Five Pejabat Pelajaran Daerah (PPD) exams only 12 out of 53 pupils (22.6%) passed all subjects. This failure rate is presumably based on students failing one to all seven (7) subjects.
Although the issue is grave the 82 Opposition PR MPs’ choose to sidestep this Tamil school critically high dropout rate as the Indians are not politically empowered to speak up for themselves and neither do they have the economic power. Thus they are seen as soft targets by both UMNO and also PKR, DAP and PAS and hence are abandoned. Raising Indian issues may not be rewarding for them.
To move on and the way forward is as per “Indian political empowerment strategy – the way forward”
