"I was born here and worked all my life in this estate, now they want ask us to leave with RM6000 and a low cost flat, they want to demolish our temple, they want to relocate our Tamil school to a religious school but at the same time they promise to negotiate and look at our miseries and plights" That are the words from the workers and former workers of Ladang Bukit Jalil, they are willing to co-operate with the government if at a fair compensation is offered. The MP for Bandar Tun Razak is non other than the Chief Minister of Selangor, Khalid Ibrahim. CJ Arvind Raj had the opportunity to witness several digital photographs of documents which stated that the Lot No.45584 as "TDK" and not "STATE LAND"

This 35 last batch of Indian  settlers in Kg Lindungan, PJ, have been repeatedly denied even low cost houses by the Selangor PKR State government.

Had they have been Malay muslim as in Kg.Baru, KL, they would have been offered RM 4 million each. And the Selangor Menteri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim would have personally intervened to get an even better deal as he did for the Kg Baru Malay muslims.

Some 100 over or so of these 35 Indian families, friends were cheated into moving to Lembah Subang some 16 years ago until such time their low cost houses are built. But up to now including the third year PKR is ruling Selangor, this problem is not solved.

Now all what these 35 poor and homeless Indian families want is a letter in writing from the PKR Selangor State government that their houses would be completed within the two years they had promised and if not they would be paid RM 500 rentals per month until completion as they do not want to suffer the same fate of their friends in Lembah Subang.

Is this too much to ask Tan Sri Khalid?

After all they are not asking for RM 4 million each! Only a guaranteed low cost house.

If not how then is the PKR, DAP and PAS Alternative Coalition (P.R.) any different from the previous UMNO/B.N regime?

This is suit to stop asserting racism and supremacy even on the poor Indians ( see SH 26/6/2010 at page S5 )

The PKR leader is saying PKR might make public these low cost houses.

Don’t play shrewd politics PKR !

Just do it and prove it that you are different from UMNO and not a mere UMNO splinter party.

This is yet again another sad sob story of seven Indian settler families in Papan Lama, Batu Gajah becoming homeless after living in their land over the last three generations (The Star 2/6/10 at page N47).

Any comments from ‘multiracial’ DAP Perak or Batu Gajah? Or no comments because the victims are the soft target Indians. Or would DAP would rather fight the UMNO regime on some other Malay, Chinese or natives issues?

PJS 1 squatters question on continuing their house problems

The PJS 1 residents, on HRP’s, advise are demanding low cost homes and RM 500 per month for rentals until the new flats are built for them. And they made decision not to move out without anything in black and white from the Selangor state government. As compensation for waiting two more years as promised by the state government they agreed to receive RM14,285 per family.

Even under the present PKR led Selangor state government, like the previous UMNO regime only another temporary and the usual piecemeal solution for Indian victims is offered.
